SPECIFICATIONS The rock falls under the migmatite granite group with gneissic flow pattern. Granularity is medium grained. Essential felsic minerals are quartz and feldspar. Mica occurs as dark biotite or as silvery muscovite. The granite is mined in Chendrapalli and outskirts of Krishnagiri, Dharamapuri district, Tamilnadu, South India.
